I just caught and captured an albino squirrell.?

Is there a law about catch and release of squirrels??? I like it...I just caught and captured an albino squirrell.?
I dont see why you cant keep it but be sure to have a vet look at it and get whatever license you may need to keep a wild animal and get it its shots, like rabies and distemper otherwise you can have a real problem on your hands.I just caught and captured an albino squirrell.?
Let it go please, it is a wild animal. You are ignorant to the care that it needs. I am really tired of people keeping wildlife as pets. It is simply irresponsible and wrong.
It is illegal to keep wildlife unless you are a liscened wildlife rehabilitator. That is a wild animal, and the longer you keep her, the more you will imprint on it and decrease her chances for survival. You may like him, but you are hurting him/her. Let it go.
I think you should give it to an animal sanctuary. Albino Squirrels, are rare. They would probably name it after you, and you could still go see him whenever you want.
Well, I don't think there's a law, you won't go to jail or anything.





But that squirrel won't live very long under your care (no offense). Wild animals have special needs.

This is a wild animal... He is not happy and I think you should let him go back to the wild immediately. Wild animals are just that and not meant to live with someone.
PLease put him back where you found him as he is probably scared out of his wits and you have just put him the equivalent of jail for the rest of his life. Do you know what to feed him? Does the cage give him as much freedom as he had? If the answer to either is no let him go.
Yes there is a law. You should let the squirrel go. It will die from stress and being scared. Please just let the poor thing go...
