It means there'a a homocidal cat lurking aboutWhat does it mean when you find a dead squirrell? [read]?
It means that he died before he had the pleasure of meeting you. (Or maybe because he was about to meet you)
it means you should be nicer to your ex .
The rodent mafia?

Baby Bunny Living With 2 Year Old Squirrell!!!!??????Help????!!!鈥?Points!!!!????
ok so i bought this new baby bunny and my aunt thought it was a good idea to put her in with a 2 year old squirrell and i said no c but she said kets just try so i put here in there and she just stood there then the Squirrell like jumped on her aggresivly so itook her out and put her in a nice soft cage unharmed can the bunny and the Squirrell live together?
10 points best answerBaby Bunny Living With 2 Year Old Squirrell!!!!??????Help????!!!鈥?Points!!!!????
Your aunt is a complete idiot.
That's so cruel and stupid for her to do that. Your rabbit may be seriously injured and won't like being handled as she'll be so scared and in shock from the attack.
Think before you do something like that.
AND...WHO THE HELL KEEPS SQUIRRELLS?!Baby Bunny Living With 2 Year Old Squirrell!!!!??????Help????!!!鈥?Points!!!!????
No they can't.
That was so cruel to do that. You need to take the rabbit to the vet to make sure it isn't badly injured and that it hasn't caught anything off the squirrel.
Squirrels can be very nasty animals and shouldnt be brought into close contact with anything like that.
Your poor rabbit must be so scared, youre gonna have to work even harder with it to gain its trust after such a traumatic experience.

u might think hes bald but its just his 2nd coat

squirrel at our old house used to look like that and i know for sure nothing was wrong with him because he was always sitting next to us and you could see what looked like bald patches was actually just hair of a different color.living nature

Squirrell walks into a bar?
and asks the barman if he has any nuts for sale. the barman says no . only crisps and beer. so the squirrell has a beer and sits down.
an hour later he goes to the bar and asks if they have any nuts. slightly annoyed the barman says no only beer and crisps. so the squirrell buys a beer and sits back down. an hour later the squirrell asks again for nuts. the barman getting annoyed now tells the squirrell if he asks for nuts again he would nail his balls to the ceilling. so the squirrel orders a beer and sits back down. an hour later the squirrell goes up to the bar and asks the barman '; do you have any nails'; the barman replys no only beer and crisps so the squirrell then asks

Squirrell problem... answers ASAP!?
So we've had some little pests decide to nest in our loft for a few months now. It hasnt been a problem until now... we put a small cage trap in there, to hopefully catch it, and then release it near our local woods, but we found it dead in there the next day, unfortunately we buried it, but found some babies...
They have fur and we fed them some milk with a small pippet and their sleeping in a large cage we found with our previous pets. We rang the RSPCA immediately after, but they said they'd just put them down, and it's 拢18 per one, and theres 4. There's nothing else we can do, some are very small and would not survive on their own if we released them. they did not say anything about it being illegal without any other squirrels being able to look after them... We dont know hat to do, we cant keep them, for we are aware that wild animals should not be kept as pets, so we want to be rid of them as soon as possible, what's your opinion??????Squirrell problem... answers ASAP!?
Yes you need to get rid of these wild animals. You can't care for them as nature intended. Unfortunally the end result is going to be the same no matter what you do.Squirrell problem... answers ASAP!?
we have something called 'Wild at Heart';they are caring people that deal with wild animals in the same problem you are having.Don't feel guilty about what happened but seal up the access point they entered the attic so no more get in .Contact a local zoo they may know of a society that will look after them but the zoo will not take them.
A simple method to get rid of them is to take them to a zoo.
Somebody had brought the offspring of a squirral to me some 10years ago.I tried to raise them by giving them milk and soft fruits keeping them in a big cage. I always found them tried to go up .The moment I took them down they would resume their climb up.I did not succeed in making them friendly. They ate very little and one day one of them died. I took them to a nearby tree and left them on it. They immediately climbed it up and disappeared ;I hope that after going totheir environment they must have done well. However, on my next visit I did see some squirrals but could not say whether they were the same which I had left there.
i am very sorry, you will have to put them down.
You said that you tried calling the RSPCA...I'm not British but is that your local humane society for pets (cats, dogs?) If so, I would try a place specifically for wildlife.
If you don't have one in your area, you should probably humanely put them down. If you want to spend 80 pounds on it, fine, if not, there are other not-so-great options that I am sure you will not enjoy. I guess the lesson is to use a no-kill trap and also to plug any holes in your roof.
Try raising them. If they live, you have pets. If they die, you have saved 72 pounds. If they are the introduced grey squirrels that have been wrecking the environment, give them to a friend who has a pet snake.
Well, you shouldn't have put a trap in their and killed the mother, dumba**! Just keep nurturing them. Because, with your care, they will never be able to be relased in to the wild. So either you: kill 4 baby INNOCENT squirells, or you just nurture them until they pass.
Simple solution? Get a cat. Above all, don't feel guilty for removing a pest and/or health hazard. Wild animals have a hard life. They don't die of old age, they die of predation or starvation.

I have a 4 week old squirrell and it just stared today to poop out puz and smells really bad.?
I just need some answers please.I have a 4 week old squirrell and it just stared today to poop out puz and smells really bad.?
Hi Angela... animals are born with intestinal parasites which are passed down from the mother in utero. This also may be much more serious if you are seeing pus which indicates an infection. It's important to have him evaluated and treated respectively as soon as possible. Left untreated it will become life-threatening and can be fatal.

Squirrell hunting...?
what are the rules for squirrell hunting....how far from houses, if you need a liscnece...do you have to take the dead squirrell with you etc. And when you hunt, must you wear orange as a law...?Squirrell hunting...?
I am honestly not trying to sound like a smart-*** but if you have to ask all those questions, you really shouldn't be hunting yet. Laws vary from state to state, so I would recommend taking a hunter's safety course in your state. They will teach you the basics and the laws. Besides most states now require you to take a safety course as a requirement prior to being elligible to purchase a hunting license.Squirrell hunting...?
Regulations vary state to state for every one of those questions I suggest looking for a place that sells hunting liscences and asking them for a regulation book
as for not taking the squirrel with you many stated have sever penaltys for injuring or killing an animal
and not imediatley making it a part of your daily bag limit besides the fact that its just not ethical
In Arkansas you need a hunting lic, and wear orange in the field. If you are shooting them, I hope it is for food and not just leaving them to rot. Even if you don't want to eat them, there are surely others who will. Otherwise, don't bother.
500' from any occupied dwelling.*Yes you need a Hunting license.* Yes you have to take the squirrel with you.* Yes you must wear blaze orange.*
In Michigan you need a license, I would wear orange. One can't hunt within 450' from an occupied dwelling. If your not going to eat it, don't go.
These are all questions for which the answers will depend upon where you live. Laws differ from state to state and you failed to say where you live. The one question for which there is an almost universal answer is the one about taking the squirrel with you. In every state that I know of, it is against the law to waste any edible part of a game animal. That means that if you shoot it, someone is obligated to eat all of the edible parts. If you are not interested in eating it, do not kill it.
Most states will require that you have a small game hunting license to hunt squirrels. Some states allow you to hunt on your own property without a hunting license but make sure that your state has such a law if you will be hunting on YOUR OWN land. Because of the way squirrels are hunted, if you are hunting on public land or land where you may be sharing it with other hunters, always wear an orange vest and hat. Whatever you do, do not go bare headed because your hair could look like an animal to a careless or inexperienced hunter.
Go to your nearest sporting goods store that sells hunting gear and ask if they have a booklet that explains the applicable laws. Most states make these booklets available free of charge to hunters and fishermen.
Yes, you need a liscence, and you probably do have to take the dead squirrel. I don't think you're required to wear orange but it's suggested.
The particular laws depend on your home state.
A good general rule I learned from my Grandpa - If your not going to eat it, don't shoot it.
What is the point of killing something if you're not going to use it. That is an ignorant waste.
Live creatures are not for playing with in this manner. Eat it, or leave it be.living nature

Awfully nutty. You have to bury it and later dig it up.What is the book of Squirrell?
The world's only valid sacred text.
Book of Squirrel 91:4: Beware of thine trees upon which mistletoe grows, for those trees are diseased and dying. Park not they car nor thine pine nut under these trees, for thine branches shall surely fall.

Is Squirrell Feces Harmful?
IWe have a squirrell in our attic that we are trying to rid of. My husband is climbing through attic and squirrell feces. We have a 2 yr old son and are wondering if him or my husband can be harmed by the feces. Is Squirrell Feces Harmful?
Animal feces is the leading cause of blindness. Get over to an ophthalmologist tomorrow. As for the squirrel feces, get an exterminator. Don't try to rid yourself of the pest alone. Is Squirrell Feces Harmful?
Put a dusk mask on! Less of a risk than mice but they are still rodents and can carry disease. I got rid of mine (in the attic) with a nice dish of Mouse/Rat poison. Don't block where it is getting in till its gone.

I just found 3-4 week old baby squirrell it had some maggots one has gotton under its skin how i kill it?
they just appeared n hour ago i used hydrgen peroxide and neosporin on the little guy he seems ok i just dont want one stupid maggot to ruin his chances of survivalI just found 3-4 week old baby squirrell it had some maggots one has gotton under its skin how i kill it?
Peroxide damages skin and doesn't allow proper healing. Warm soapy water and Neosporin will keep it clean. Take the maggot off and dispose of it. Take the baby squirrel to the vet tomorrow and let them send it to a rehabilitater. Good luckI just found 3-4 week old baby squirrell it had some maggots one has gotton under its skin how i kill it?
Dude be really careful when handling it it probably has a lot of bacteria that you don't want. Take it to the vet in a little box.
I DONT NO
You need to contact your local wild life rescue service. Ask them questions about how to proceed with the baby.
If you don't want to call someone a good place to contact would be
www. squirrel-rehab.org
Good Luck! :-D
Maggots only eat dead skin, they don't eat live skin. You need to take the squirrel to a vet, they can check for infection and such.
Call a vet. Check your yellow pages, there might even be a 24hr emergency vet that you can get information from. good luck little squirrel.

Does the male squirrell help look after youngsters?
Male squirrels are solitary creatures and usually leave their mates immediately after the babies are born. The males move on immediately after mating, primarily because the females will not allow them to stay. The protective mothers will usually not allow the father to return and stay with the babies, even after they are grown, because the male squirrels may harm the children to allow the mother to go back into heat sooner. The fathers sometimes are allowed to board with the family during the winter months.
Why the hell does Sally the squirrell live in the sea???
Why does she sometimes wear a space helmet and other times not???Why the hell does Sally the squirrell live in the sea???
she usually only has it off when shes inside her glass dome. i guess she didn't like Texas much or just wanted a change of scenery. Why the hell does Sally the squirrell live in the sea???
I don't know, its just a cartoon, its supposed to be funny
Her name isn't Sally it's Sandy, she doesn't wear her helmet when she's in her dome that's filled with air not water.
I thought it was Sandy... and Spongebob's creators had to have been on speed (Spongebob), weed (Squidward), and meth (Patrick) to have came up with those characters.

Why isn't my squirrell trap working?
my trap looks like a miniature cat trap and i bought it but these squirrells don't go near it. im getting so mad im gonna get my grandfather's old shotgun out and shoot to kill those dumb little squirrells. you might save their life if you tell me how to get rid of them without killing them and making a mess in my front yard.
just kidding about killing them but seriously how do i make it work? Why isn't my squirrell trap working?
fix the trap so it won't catch them for a couple of days...find out a bait they like. I have luck with smearing peanut butter across a Ritz cracker...Sociable cracker...etc Some people have luck using cracked pecans and others will sprinkle bird seed over golf ball sized bit of peanut butter. After you chum with your bait and get them used to going in the trap you can fix it so it now catches themWhy isn't my squirrell trap working?
I have a ';Hav-a-Heart'; #3 trap that works very good. One problem to start was -- I would place a walnut in the trap and the squirrel would not see it and when he/she did - they would jump over the center trip plate. I then placed a 3'; X 3' X 1';piece of wood about two inches each side of the trigger plate. The squirrel would then jump over the wood and onto the trigger and ';Bingo'; Don't forget to set the lock, (if yours has one), so when the trap door closes - the squirrel cannot force it open - and they can hit it pretty hard.
Also mine has two trap doors - one on each end. I now leave one closed and set just the one.
It helps to place a walnut or two outside the trap so when they come after them they will see the walnuts on the inside.
I have caught 11 at a single parent neighbors house after they had chewed two holes into the attic. They were running around in there and a concern was - they may chew into the wiring or through the ceiling and fall down into a room?
Emptying the trapped squirrel into a large heavy duty trash bag helps to contain it until you can get rid of it.
Bait is important in catching squirrels. Use a combo of peanut butter and peanuts in the center of the trap. I've caught lots of squirrels and chipmunks with peanut butter. They love it and can smell it a mile away (not literally). If it is a two door trap, you may want to close one door. Squirrels are pretty quick and can jump through the trap before the doors close. It's much harder for them to back out quickly when one door is used (use the door that is directly triggered by the tray). Happy hunting.
Lar is right on the money. If you insist on trapping them or it.Squirrel is just a country rodent Much like a rat but with a furry tail.Good luck. Thanks for the two points.living nature

Pink Dead squirrell in road?
i was just about to back out of my driveway when out of the corner of my eye i saw something in the road. I ran over and discovered a dead squirrel in my neighborhood street- normal i know but then i looked closer and discovered it's tail was a hot pink color? what should i do? how did it get pink?Pink Dead squirrell in road?
Maybe someone spray painted it after it died.Pink Dead squirrell in road?
well i dont think it is anything too serious. it could just be that it was a baby and that hot pink color was comming from the transparent skin color and its blood showing through. i dont think you have anything to worry about.
Partial albino. Did it have red eyes?
Maybe it used your Pro-Active???
It may not turn purple in squirrels, besides PURPLE SQUIRREL is harder to say then PINK SQIRREL.
It may have been drunk when it died. Look up Pink Squirrel (Creme de Cacao, Creme de Noyaux and light cream).
Or maybe it's just the drugs in you talking again.
BTW, are you still purple?
i agree with the person who suggested the Humane Society. someone could of been torturing that poor thing. or it might of been someones pet, or maybe call the DNR
Are you sure it was a squirrel? Could it have been a possum baby?
maybe it was a baby or its blood came out or somebody skinned it
It could have been a prank. Call the humane society and report it. Don't pitch the squirrel until you do as they may want pix of it. Either place it in a baggie and stick it in your freezer until they come or see if you can take the pix yourself.
Quick, rush it to your nearest Chinese Restaurant. They pay big bucks for ';Pink Tailed Squirrel.';

I just caught and captured an albino squirrell.?
Is there a law about catch and release of squirrels??? I like it...I just caught and captured an albino squirrell.?
I dont see why you cant keep it but be sure to have a vet look at it and get whatever license you may need to keep a wild animal and get it its shots, like rabies and distemper otherwise you can have a real problem on your hands.I just caught and captured an albino squirrell.?
Let it go please, it is a wild animal. You are ignorant to the care that it needs. I am really tired of people keeping wildlife as pets. It is simply irresponsible and wrong.
It is illegal to keep wildlife unless you are a liscened wildlife rehabilitator. That is a wild animal, and the longer you keep her, the more you will imprint on it and decrease her chances for survival. You may like him, but you are hurting him/her. Let it go.
I think you should give it to an animal sanctuary. Albino Squirrels, are rare. They would probably name it after you, and you could still go see him whenever you want.
Well, I don't think there's a law, you won't go to jail or anything.
But that squirrel won't live very long under your care (no offense). Wild animals have special needs.
You should let it go.
The albino ones are the most delicious.
This is a wild animal... He is not happy and I think you should let him go back to the wild immediately. Wild animals are just that and not meant to live with someone.
PLease put him back where you found him as he is probably scared out of his wits and you have just put him the equivalent of jail for the rest of his life. Do you know what to feed him? Does the cage give him as much freedom as he had? If the answer to either is no let him go.
Yes there is a law. You should let the squirrel go. It will die from stress and being scared. Please just let the poor thing go...
y the hell would u catch a squirrell? tha is so mean!! loser!!!

If i catch a squirrell and take it out into the country a few miles will it find its way back?
No.If i catch a squirrell and take it out into the country a few miles will it find its way back?
i do not know. i will attempt it and let you knowIf i catch a squirrell and take it out into the country a few miles will it find its way back?
If you barbecue it and have it for a snack it wont.
please catch the squirrell then update and tell how it went. thanks for the points. oh and btw, it won't find its way back but it will adapt to its surroundings, that is if you get it to the desired location. i think that squirrell is going to rip you a new one though.
Yes, it will find his scent and return
i don't no. test it and see if it works. i think it will because not many trees are in the country so it might find its way back or get run over by a car either way
it depends on how far you take it. I was at my cousins house a few years back and a squirrel kept getting into the house and scaring the wits out of us! we had a squirrel specialist come out and he had to trap it and transport it miles, and miles away so that it wouldn't come back. may i ask why you are asking this question? i'm just wondering b/c its so odd! w/e. i hope you found your answer!!!

Grey spotted tailless hopping squirrell?
I was at the Shida nightmarket in Taipei, Taiwan tonight and saw the most unusual creature ever. One of the shopkeepers in the market had a small rodent like pet that kept hopping on from his shoulder on to his wife's head. I need to know what it was.
It was about the size of a regular hand, tailless (I think), grey with black spots and looked and moved a lot like a squirrel. It would dart all over the shopkeepers body and virtually fly across the room on to the back of the wife's head, maybe a metre away. Never seen anything like it. Any ideas?
It must be some kind of illegally imported exotic pet.....Grey spotted tailless hopping squirrell?
possibly a baby sugar glider? did it look like this
http://www.gotpetsonline.com/sugar-glide鈥?/a>
they are the most frequent of the gliders that are kept as pets or offered for saleGrey spotted tailless hopping squirrell?
if it looked like a squirrell and was flying, it could've been a flying squirrel. that is a species...
it could just be a chinchilla, they look like squirrells to alot of people and dart around too...

What is a good 22 rifle for squirrell hunting?
what are good brands that are cheap like around 100-200 dollarsWhat is a good 22 rifle for squirrell hunting?
I got some old Voere single shot .22LR trainer for about $120. Its from like 1950. It would great for squirrels although I actually shoot little blacks birds with white spots on the wings instead, dang things so noisy they don't even shut up all night long. They're on 24/7, they drive me nuts.
You can get a similar .22 rifle used from a gun store, any pre-1980s .22 generally would be great for that. pre-1960s you can get some very quality .22 rifles for a very low price. Generally $80 to $150.
A good new rifle would be be the Marlin 925. its a bolt action .22LR (accepts .22S, .22L also) with 7 or 10 shot detachable box magazine. very accurate, reliable, simple rifle. Has 3/8'; rail for a scope. - $150
Cheaper and less accurate rifles: Marlin 60: $130, semi auto, polymer, reliable and lightweight. Not too accurate though. What is a good 22 rifle for squirrell hunting?
Well i have an old Marlin golden 39A. You can get a new Marlin from $165 up to $300 or more depending on the Model of 22 you choose.
here is a link. They are great rifles!

How do i catch a squirrell?
i want one for a pet but i dont know how i would catch one...How do i catch a squirrell?
get a box and and a stick stand up the stick put the box on it wait u need a string to tie the string to the sick use bait under the box when it comes it will it the bait an pull the stick and it will trap itHow do i catch a squirrell?
I wont tell you how to catch one...but you'd better have some bandaids, gauze pads, neosporin and varous other items on hand for when you do...It will tear you to shreds, so be prepared
I bottle fed a litter of three after their mother diapappered and they were all found at the base of a tree, eyes not even opened yet...a cat had already killed one
I raised them like my own, bottle fed every 2 hours and stimluated them to go the bathroom etc...when they hit adulthood they turned on me and and attacked my family members.. A wild animal is meant to be in the wild
I had to have stitches on my thumb.
If sugar gliders are legal in your state, then get one of those instead, they are even cuter and much friendlier
Good luck , you crazy nut :P
Nicole
First of all, you don't catch wild animals and keep them for pets. It is illegal.
Second, if you live in the US, it may be illegal in your state to keep a squirrell even if it was not caught in the wild.
Research your state laws, and if squirrels are legal to keep, then research the proper way to feed and house a squirrel. Then research breeders.
You don't want one for a pet... they have razor sharp teeth. Experience this year is that they chewed thru metal wire.
If you MUST have one for a pet, just find a nest and then after the babies are born, kill the mother.
How about go and adopt a small dog from the SPCA? A lot easier to care for.
trap it. they sell and rent them at the home centers.
this is a joke right?
those are wild animals and it is against the law to capture and house one. they are not domestic animals and they carry all sorts of germs and deseace! plus it is not fair to the animal!!
it is also illegal and against DNR codes
Squirrels do not make good pets. Wild animals are much happier in the wild. Why not put out a feeder to attract them into your yard? Over time it may get used to you and take nuts and such from your hand, but please don't subject a wild animal to captivity. It's cruel and illegal unless you are licensed to keep wild animals.living nature

Is it possible to train a squirrell from birth to be a house pet just like a cat or dog?
Squirrels are wild animals and should not be kept indoors for any reason. They might be cute and cuddly, but they can carry diseases in addition to be very instinctual. Also, you may not be able to provide the animal with all of the nutrients it will need for a long and happy, healthy, squirrelly life. If you have found a baby squirrel please call your local ASPCA or humane society as they usually have connections with a local wildlife rehab center that will take the squirrel from you and help release it back into the wild.Is it possible to train a squirrell from birth to be a house pet just like a cat or dog?
They are wild animals and it's not legal to keep them as pets.Is it possible to train a squirrell from birth to be a house pet just like a cat or dog?
probably but its not legal to keep a squirrel in the UK without a licence
the squirrell would not like it squirrell should be free they like there freedom
we have tons of them.... they live in our backyard in the trees. They are very happy being free- we do put out squirrel food during the winter- but really have no interest in trying to touch them. They're entertaining when hopping through the tree tops...
No,
You may not be able to train your so called baby squirell
put sometimes it attaches to it's woner when it is ready to be trained go to www.yahoo.com and search for: How To Raise A Baby Squirell. And then click on a link that might say How To Train Your Squirell. Or you can also go to bookstores but anyways yes you can train a squirell and no you can't train a squirell! So it's 50/50!
No! first it is illegal to take any animal or bird from the wild to be a pet secondly it is cruel!thirdly Squirrels are vicious little beasts especially in the breeding season.
Yes, it is possible. There are reputable breeders that deal in various species of squirrels, such as red, grey and fox squirrels, as well as flying squirrels. Here is one: http://www.ratkateersrodentry.com/custom鈥?/a>
However, before you decide to keep a pet squirrel, you need to check with your state and local government. Squirrels are considered ';exotics'; and may be banned or regulated (requiring a license to keep) in some areas.
Also, it is NEVER legal to capture and keep a wild animal.
If you decide to get a squirrel, please do your homework first. Find out exactly how they need to be housed and fed, and what their health needs/problems are. Then, make sure you find a vet that specializes in squirrels BEFORE you bring one home...after an animal is ill, it is too late to be looking for someone qualified to treat it.
Also, make sure it can never get loose. First, it is illegal to release a domestic pet into the wild (even accidentally). Second, it would not have the necessary instincts to survive in the wild.
yes but if u have a guy around id watch his nuts :D
no squirrel bit and are vermin i dont think u b able to house train them sorry
it IS possible, but it also IS illegal.
i have a friend who has a grey squirrel on licence, someone rescued and hand reared him as a young pup and tried to release him in a park when he was old enough, he started to become agressive and a really pest to people in the park coming over for food and nipping and biting when they wouldnt feed him, with squirrels known to be able to carry rabies it isnt a good thing!
my friend collected the squirrel and now keeps it as a house pet, where it is really friendly with her, but aggressive with absolutly everyone else. she lets it out the cage for about 10 minutes in a morning and about a hour at night, making sure she is alone with non of her other animals in the house or they get attacked. they also have very special nutritional needs
not the perfect life for a squirrel, but it was either this, or euthanasia. as it is illegal to put him back in the wild with squirrels being considered pests. she has had several bad bites of it from where it had been over playing, that has required stitching, they are not a good pet at all!

Have you taken Anthony Squirrell Thompson's advice to add Henbane to a salad and if so, how do you feel

He is a complete plank! When he was on a celebity chef competion for the Royal dinner he burnt his meat dish and the judges could not eat it. Now that tells you something does'nt it. This recent news just confirms it, he is not very good compared to the real chefs like Marcus Waring and the other Micheline stared chefs
Made me laugh when I saw it - I soon realised though that having sent it on to a few people it was a tad too late to profess I didn't realise he had got his ingredients mixed up when I read the original article!
I certainly have a list of people I would like to invite around for an AWT salad date!!
The article said there have been no reports of any casualties yet.
Doesn't that tell you something about his popularity??
I never heed the advice of a troll. And most certainly not one that has had buttocks injected into his face and shreddies crumbled on top of his head.
Dead unfortunately. Thank god i wrote this comment down on a piece of paper for this article so someone else wrote it for me.
A bit cheesed off.
I died this afternoon!
Before I could eat the banoffee cheesecake too.
How he could make such a terrible mistake is awful. Can you imagine

Anyone know how to build your own squirrell distress call ?
I have seen them built using a discarded bottle cap. It appears to have an 1/8 - 3/16ths hole drilled in the center. I have never used a home built one so I can't tell you how to use it from there. I would assume it would work the same as the commercial model.Anyone know how to build your own squirrell distress call ?
Not really.
But, if you had a tape recorder and a squirrel it'd probably be pretty easy!Anyone know how to build your own squirrell distress call ?
Step on ones tail and have a recorder near by.
Go to Walmart and for less than 10 bucks you can buy one.

What's the stupiest food you ever fed a squirrell?
One time I gave one a Reeses' Peanutbutter cup and it got an instant sugar rush. Turned wacko really fast,so I got outta there before anybody knew I had anything to do with it.What's the stupiest food you ever fed a squirrell?

Hi Sweetie,
I got an email that said you turned me in for my response to your ';does it mean Im gay if'; question. Im sorry I jumped on ya for it. I didnt understand why you wouldve done that. Okay, all is good between us then? I am assuming it is. I love you too cookie! Take care!!!
Donnel, I just realized that anybody can turn me in. I am so sorry, I just assumed it was you. Perhaps you have a fan or something that thought I was being rude to you?? Okay, hugs and again Im terribly sorry to have suspected you. You be one cool lady!!

I fed a squirrel a piece of KFC chicken LOL!
bologna
I threw a shoe
lol...never fed a squirrel...thank goodness
I once threw a whacky squirrel to a crocodile . . . . .
A pickle from a cheeseburger.
tootsie roll, it was fun watching it eat that
Hot peanuts! Now that was stupid.
Corn dog.
One time I had my niece and nephew over and we were having a little cookout and they were little at the time and eating hotdogs. This one very friendly squirrel that we used to
feed nuts to jumped up on the chair , grabbed one of the kids
hotdog and roll and ran with them in its mouth.
Needless to say, whenever I saw that squirrel again , I'd yell out , no food for you , just like the soup nazi, no soup for you.
I made these really ugly valentine cookies. The icing was supposed to be purple, but it turned out this weird grayish/lavender. I went ahead and put white dots and flowers on them. Then we put them outside, intending to put them in the trash. About ten minutes later a squirrell was seen hauling entire heart cookies up a tree. He kept coming back for them! I can only imagine what his nest looked like.
i fed one a ceese puff ..and it went crazy !!!!
Bread... same with the pigeons!! =P
Hey, I wouldn't want to waste good money spent on food just to feed some rabid wild animals! They can go fetch their own dinner for themselves! =D
well this never happened to me but it happened to a friend of mine. He was outside and saw a squirrel. He had a handful of peanuts and the squirell came up to him to eat it. Then it started crawling up his leg and he shook it off. Then he started running away from it cuz it started to follow him to get more peanuts. My friend ran and hid in the garage, looking out the window and saw the squirrel waiting for him on the driveway. I couldnt stop laughing when he first told me about this hahahahaha
You don't need to feed squirrels. Usually they help themselves without asking or hesitation.
a cigarette butt... it's an aquired taste
bar b que chicken and ribs
rat at tooi
Deez NutZ!!!
Lol i gave it an acorn I soaked in this like vile concotion of Mustard, ketchup, salt, pepper, mayo, horseradish, relish, sour milk, cream cheese, and mad old eggs. I never saw the thing again.

You will not deter Grey Squirrels, they are persistent pests. If you have Red Squirrels you are extremely fortunate, and they are protected by law. Grey Squirrels ? I just shoot them.
put a bucket of nuts next to it!
If the're bulbs plant gumballs(sugar maple) with bulbs. The squirrel feels the points on gumballs and leaves. If the're blooming buy an outside cat.NO Squirrels!
FEED IT!! Sing the Almond Joy theme!!!! Sometimes you look like a nut....
trap it and move it to the neighbors yard down the block:)

How do i take care of a baby squirrell?
i found a baby squirrell and i need to no how to take care of it plz help??How do i take care of a baby squirrell?
Are you sure it's an orphan?
Because you can't take it away from the mother, she will be distraught.
If it IS an orphan, wrap it in a warm blanket, put it in a pet carrier or something, and take it to the nearest vets/RSPCA/etc.
Don't try and take care of it yourself. It needs to go back into the wild. How do i take care of a baby squirrell?
Do some research online. I personally wouldn't do it by myself. There was a baby squirrel huddled in a corner by my front door. It was at around 8pm so sanctuaries weren't open. Went to Petsmart and bought puppy formula. He was fed with a syringe. He needs to be kept warm, so a heating pad is needed. If it is a male, he will definitely get feisty as he gets older. The females will also get feisty when they reach sexual maturity, looking for a mate. I wouldn't recommend keeping the squirrel. However for the time being, you will need to purchase puppy formula and estimate his weight, this way you know how to properly mix the powder.
Keep him warm enough through the night via a heating pad or a heat lamp. The warmth would come from his mother, but unfortunately that's not possible at the moment. Contact a wildlife rescue facility. They won't put the squirrel down. He will be rehabilitated. Fed regularly, kept warm properly, have the proper housing, etc. Look in the telephone book or online for a place that will take him. Taking care of a squirrel is no easy task, and he is still wild. Even with socializing with you, he will still be wild as he grows up and reaches sexual maturity.
I would find the nearest animal shelter and give it to them. Squirrels are not meant to be domesticated and should be re-released to the wild. An animal shelter will rehabilitate it and release it when they deem fit.
with a gun just kiddding

Squirrell digging holes in my yard?
Hi i have a squirrel that is digging all kinds of hole in my yard and causing damage. Does anyone know anything I can put on the yard to discourage the varmantSquirrell digging holes in my yard?
I, unfortunately, have tons of experience with squirrels ~ if they are digging holes, chances are they are burying food that one of your neighbors are putting out.
There's only two humane ways to get rid of squirrels,
the first is to get a dog. The second is to buy a humane squirrel trap and release the critter several miles away from your home.Squirrell digging holes in my yard?
A small terrier dog. I have a toy fox terrier who cut his teeth (literally) on squirrels digging in our yard. It's kind of a hobby for him now.
I have bought mouse pellets, I HATE those ground rats..they eat them, and they are no longer around, and I have two more to go...
Until you have one or two, destroy your yard, you will use whatever means neccessary to get rid of them
Garlic, urine, moth balls don't work. ONly poison. period...
Bonide Products makes an animal repellent called Repels All which should work. Repellents work through smell, taste and irritation. Re-apply about every 3 weeks. It won't hurt the squirrel, just make him go somewhere else...like to your neighbor's yard.
Bug Doc
The squirrel is looking for food. Put out some corn and he will stop digging.
Get a big dog like a Labrador, they love to chase squirrels.
Lay down mines. The ******* will be too scared to enter your yard.

Killed a squirrell and now i feel bad?
So i was bored and i took my bb gun into the backyard to shoot at birds and squirrels not thinking it would hurt them too bad. Sure enough i find a squirrell and shoot it from maybe 15 yards out and it falls to the ground and starts rolling around in pain and when i walk up i notice i hit it in the head and it is bleeding really bad so i couldn't leave it there to die slow so i finished it off. Why do i feel bad i mean it's just a squirrell right?Killed a squirrell and now i feel bad?
you always feel bad your first time.
i'll tell you a story:
at our farm, we have thanksgiving there every year since i was one year old. i got a .22 for christmas 3 years ago. 2 years ago all my uncles and their wives came on my dads side (three uncles, two married) so my uncle matt and josh are drunk, and they take my gun to ';kill'; an armadillo, but they miss and badly wound it ,so its now slowly dieing, and my not drunk uncle, andy, takes his gun and kills it.
my uncle hunts regularly, and he felt really bad because of the inhumane kill, so that might be your problemKilled a squirrell and now i feel bad?
NOT EVERYONE FEELS BAD
It's completely understandable, hell it's even a good thing. One of the things people have noticed about sociopaths and serial killers is that they are often abusive to animals. The fact that you felt bad and even gave the little guy a quicker death shows that you aren't one of them. I'm not going to say you should go out and eat some half rotted meat, but most of the guilt from killing is easy to overcome when the killing serves a purpose (notice all the other posts) so if you want to ';hunt'; again you may want to dress and eat it. After all even if a squirrel's life isn't as important as a person's it is by no means worthless.
don't worry too much about it. it is a little mean to go out to shoot them, but you only thought it would hurt a little bit so your intentions are not too bad, and you probably did the right thing in finishing it off. it was an unhappy accident that it hit its head, and it probably would have met a more painful fate eventually anyway (black squirrels? haha).
if you eat meat then it would be hypocritical of you to have a problem with killing animals for fairly trivial reasons, a squirrel is probably less emotionally aware than a lot of the food you eat so i wouldn't worry too much :).
also the fact that you feel bad about it means you are probably a decent person so just chill out, it was just a squirrel :).
also nice shot ;).
First off, you killed it, now dress it so your mom can cook it for you, better yet you cook it for your mom tonight. Get online and try to find some good recipes. Don't cut your self getting it a part, just peel it, gut it, quarter it, cut off claws, head and tail, then cut down one side of the back bone(or pull the ribs apart like a yard bird, your choice),
You killed it for the chits and giggle of it, now man up and do what you need to do. If you can't then just go call the city's humane society and see if they will bring some one out to bury it for your little candy a**.
Next time you want to be a big man, go hide under your bed and rub one off.
Good day.
You shouldn't kill anything you aren't planning on eating- you killed it, now skin it, gut it, cook it and eat it. Squirrel taste pretty good and if you eat it you did nothing wrong. On the other hand a squirrel is just a rodent so who really cares, just don't do it again and take it as a lesson learned.
Maybe you learned a lesson. Killing for the H*ll of it is not sport and should make you feel bad. Life is not a video game.
';Hunters'; and sportsman take ethics seriously...
Never point any firearm (even a bb gun) at something you are not willing to destroy.... the first and most important rule of safe gun handling. Learn it and live it.
You should eat it or mount it. This is why I always tell people to take a gun safety course and hunters safety course before getting a gun. I always tell parents they must send their kids to a gun education/safety/hunter course and they must pass a test before getting even a bb gun.
BB guns as we see here can kill.

Squirrels have no soul -- Remember we eat animals... Consider it part of growing up.... I say live and let live -- But when hungry that deer doesn't bring one bit of guilt to my soul when its on the dinner table.... I lose no sleep over nuisance animals either.... Take my que from me -- Don't sweat the fact you killed an animal... If you feel it may bother you then don't take the shot next time..... But in the future if you want meat on the table then take that deer, duck, turkey and trust me you wont feel any guilt -- That's the cycle of life....
Eat it!
Besides, what you did was probably ILLEGAL. You are NOT supposed to hunt game animals out of season. And squirrels have a season.
That's a good example of how you should not pull the trigger unless you know what your shooting at.
you killed it now eat it, if i dont plan on eating it i don't shoot it, good rule to follow i think. be ethical and responsible, oh by the way squirrel season is closed right now
at least you didn't leave it there to suffer. but now you know, don't shoot at them for nothing!!

I'd like a description or picture of a sciurine, a rodent of the squirrell family?
I have a little animal going into my garden shed, he's got a rat's tail, but long soft looking fur like a rabbit, also multi colored like a rabbit, a streak of dark brown, then lighter brown. it's interesting looking
Is it a sciurine? Has anybody ever seen one of these?I'd like a description or picture of a sciurine, a rodent of the squirrell family?

This seemed to have alot of pictures. Hope this helps.
The definition of sciurine is as follows: pertaining to or like squirrels; belonging to squirrel division of rodents. sciuroid, a.like a squirrel or a squirrel's tail.
If you meant Sciurinae, you probably did not realize that it is a category of rodents not a species.
The Sciurinae is a subfamily of squirrels in the (family Sciuridae). It unites the flying squirrels with certain related tree squirrels. Older sources place the flying squirrels in a separate subfamily (Pteromyinae) and unite all remaining sciurids into the subfamily Sciurinae, but this has been strongly refuted by genetic studies.

What do you give a baby squirrell to drink when you just found it..?
Its 1-3 weeks old and i just found it on the grouund.and i thouguht it was ead whn i picked it or atleast by death.. and i brought it home and it strted to wriggle around.
And i just need to know if i can nourish it with water or if i need to get somthin esle. What do you give a baby squirrell to drink when you just found it..?
Sugar water is fine for now, but the squirrel really needs to be taken to a wildlife rehabilitator. A local vet should have the rehab centers number. What do you give a baby squirrell to drink when you just found it..?
call a vet and ask them what you should feed him.
Goat milk or powdered puppy milk
try a little milk or soymilk in an eye dropper for now and call pet shop or vet and see if they recommend any special food for baby squirrels.

Why does Power Factor improve when load increases on a Squirrell cagee induction motor?
The power factor is proportional to the lag between the voltage and the current. Putting a load on the motor decreases the phase difference and so improves the powers factorliving nature
Can a .22 caliber pellet gun at 600 fps kill a squirrell. what is a good bait to use for squirrels?
i just bought a .22 caliber crosman 2260 bolt action co2 pellet gun at 600 fps. with eun jin heavy 28.6 grain pellets it emmits about 26 foot pounds of force uppon impact. is this enough? what is a good squirrel attractant that you can make at your house? Can a .22 caliber pellet gun at 600 fps kill a squirrell. what is a good bait to use for squirrels?
Squirrels require 3 ft-lbs of impact energy.(1) (That works out to 307 fps with a 14.3 grain .22 caliber pellet.) Your Crosman 2260 is more than capable of delivering that level of energy out to beyond 40 yards.(2) However because of the low muzzle velocity and poor trajectory, you'll probably want to limit your shots to 25-30 yards since pellet drop would start affecting accuracy beyond that.
As for the 26 ft-lbs of muzzle energy... I kinda doubt it unless you've had the gun converted to use high-pressure air instead of co2. The reason I doubt it is you're assuming you'll see 600 fps with those heavy pellets, which is extremely doubtful. (Even if you did the energy figure would be 22 ft-lbs of muzzle energy, not 26 ft-lbs of muzzle energy.) The 600 fps rating comes with 14.3 grain pellets, which means the 2260 actually has 11 ft-lbs of muzzle energy.(3) I really doubt that the 2260 will get much beyond 420 fps with Eun Jin heavies. Can a .22 caliber pellet gun at 600 fps kill a squirrell. what is a good bait to use for squirrels?
if you hit them in the head yes, it might kill some and it might just stun others. Bread and nuts are good bait for squirls, open yards with spread out trees tend to yield the most squirrels
well i was taught a neat little trick get two quarters and rub them toghether sounds like a squirel is eating a nut.

How can I get rid of this damn squirrell?
For the last 2 months this damn squirrel wont leave my backyard !!!...Im going nuts!..My dogs consistently barking non-stop! and this squirrel running around my backyard like he owns it HAHA!...Please tell me what I can do? (Please dont say shoot it or anything..because I never would hurt an animal) But can I call the CITY or something...ahhhhhHow can I get rid of this damn squirrell?
set up a trap, and set it free somewhere very far from your house
How can I get rid of this damn squirrell?
If it was a larger rodent like a possum or raccoon most cities or towns would have animal control to lay traps to catch them but not for squirrels. Your new pet squirrel, like it or not, is going nuts too! Just looking for food to store for cold winter. Or has already stored food in your yard somewhere and can't find it. Squirrels do not remember where they hide their nuts and the like. Chipmunks on the other hand remember where everything is and then some. Why not get some peanuts or black walnuts, when your dog is inside, lay them a path going away from the back yard - guiding the squirrel in another direction.
You can buy a trap that won't harm it. However, these animals have incredible homing sense. If you don't drive it very, very far away it will just return to where it likely has a family, a stash of food, and/or a nest. If anyone has fed the squirrel, or it has eaten from a bird feeder it will be even harder to get rid of it.
Your best bet would be to train your dog not to bark at the squirrel. Squirrels can carry rabies and if frightened (say, by being trapped in a cage) can run up the body and bite! If you don't catch it you'll have to endure the 13 painful belly shots to treat for rabies. In fact, even if you do catch it, they still give the shots until the severed head (only way) of the squirrel yields test results.
See why I say teach the dog to stop barking at it? A spray bottle and a loud no! usually work like a charm, but you have to be consistent.
Good luck.
Sometimes you can get a trap from your local animal control center.
I'm not sure of the specifics for different places, but sometimes you can rent one for cheap, or even borrow it for free.
The type you see in movies (think the trap that Remy gets caught in in Ratatouille) is probably the easiest to use.
Obviously, you need some bait. Squirrels will go for birdseed or corn.
(On a side note, should you ever have an issue with mice, they love peanut butter and cat food.)
Once you catch the squirrel, all you have to do is take the trap a ways from your home and let the little bugger go.
Here's a picture of one of those traps, in case you weren't sure:
http://store.doyourownpestcontrol.com/is鈥?/a>
Hope this works for you.
I don't know where you live, but if you can find some kind of farm store, usually some kind of feed 'n seed place, they usually have a live trap. You might even be able to get one at Home Depot.
Anyway, it does what it says; it traps live animals, like cats and squirrels, without harming them. But that's the easy part. Now you have to try to release it.
The poor animal will be frightened, which may prove to be mortally traumatic. Assuming it isn't, you have to transport the animal somewhere and then trigger the release mechanism, which in the one I have is absurdly complicated. You should also be aware that relocating a wild animal, even if the capture, transfer and release are relatively smooth, is often fatal. You plunk an animal down in an environment in which he's not familiar, he now has to find food and shelter from scratch, and avoid predators he may not be familiar with. He often runs out of time before he can do all of that. It looks good on those various Nature TV types of shows, but when they relocate those ';nuisance bears,'; they're just doing it for public relations. The bears almost always die because they're displaced into unfamiliar surroundings (or worse yet, another bear's territory) and waste away before they can learn to cope.
Well, hopefully someone else has a better solution. Good luck!
No you cant call the city.
Squirrels are a pest. The only solution is for you to shoot it. My wife used to be the ';dont hurt it'; type. Then we had a squirrel get in our house and it did about 1500 dollars worth of damage. Now any squirrel that comes to our backyard is killed immediately. Get a good pellet gun, a .22 with subsonic rounds or my favorite, my compound bow I use for deer. Great target practice.
What is wrong with a squirrel in the yard? There would be no problem unless the squirrel is causing damage of any sort. Your backyard is the squirrel's home, he chooses to live there. Even If you remove that squirrel, wouldn't another squirrel come eventually? If you must remove the squirrel, try to remove it humanely. You just have to accept the presence of wildlife. Animals have a right to a home as much as we do.
There is nothing you can do. The city will not come and get it unless it is suspected of having rabies or something...in that case, you're dogs would probably be under suspicion as well as they seem to cohabitate. So...sorry...unless it dies, it yours to keep...oh, and unless you drive it SEVERAL miles away...it will find it's way home...but would you really even want to do that with winter coming and his nut/food storage in the area of your yard...that would be like killing him slowly...??
I'm a biologist and we use Sherman Traps all the time to catch rodents. I'm sure it would work with your squirrel too. Just bait it with something super tasty like peanuts or dried fruit... maybe make a short trail of them leading to the trap.

Call animal control. You can also buy a small live animal trap at a outdoors store, catch the squirrel, then release it a few miles away from your house.
Explosives. Then you're not hurting the animal, the explosives are. Or, you could get your neighbor to shoot it. Or you could buy a live animal trap.
You could try to tempt it like Hammy and give it some Love Handles, Skinny Mints, Neener-Neeners, and Smackeroons...... oh, and don't forget the energy drink!
you dont have to shoot it but just make traps...then take it into the wild and let it go..or when you capture it keep it in the box and through it off a bridge, problem solved!!!
Catch it in a trap or something. Drive a few miles away from your house with it and let it go. It shouldn't find its way back.
Throw nuts over the fence into your neighbors yard. He may thank you for it since he won't have to hear your pooch bark all day!
Get/make a squirrel trap and take the squirrel far away from your house.
Let your dogs out, chuck some nuts into nextdoor's garden =]
Just nature take care of it... get a Lion or a Tiger to eat it and problem resolved. ;-)
throw a whole bunch of peanuts and bird seed on your neighbors lawn everyother day, then it will bother them
Is it making you go nuts? HEHEHEHE
live trap they don't cost much
take him somewhere and let him go
Get a ';Have-a-Heart'; trap if you dont want to kill it.
Basically it's a small spring-cage trap that you bait with food... toss some bread and cheese in there and you should capture the little bugger in no time.
Then just go release him far away from your house.
But no.. the city wont come for a squirrel. Dont you know there's an economic crisis? (Besides the fact they'd laugh at you even if the economy was fine)
Your only other option is killing it of course, via gun or poison.
set up a trap, and set it free somewhere very far from your house

I have a 4 week old squirrell and it just stared today to poop out puz and smells really bad.?
I just need some answers please.I have a 4 week old squirrell and it just stared today to poop out puz and smells really bad.?
what are you feeding it? I have two babies right now and have had many i will answer as much as i can which should get you pretty far. please email me at meggheadd@yahoo.com and don't listen to any of those people who tell you to use cat or puppy formula. switch to scalded milke(cow milk right befor a boil, put half a cup in the microwave for45 seconds) and plain yogaurt not to much. It should get better. squirrels do not eat meat cats and dogs do there is stuff in the formula that it can not digest. And scalding the cow milk is important because it has to much enzymes in it there stomachs can not handle it. Scalding it will kill them. Make sure it is not to hot. Be careful when feeding that you do not go to fast you will drowned your baby( no eye droppers please a small syring, about 1 to 3 cc will be good). and i'm not going to tell you to bring it to a rehaber cause they put them to sleep. any more question email me and visit this site http://www.hal-pc.org/~jbsum/squirrel.ht鈥?/a> it has everything you will need to know also there is an email address to talk to her. She is very good about answering and giving advice and has rehabed over 2,500 squirrels with few deaths.good luck let me know how you are doing!

What type of wheel could I put up on tree for wild squirrell to entertain elderly?
Housebound elderly gent. enjoys squirrells that frequent his trees. Looking for something to add to his enjoyment. What type of wheel could I put up on tree for wild squirrell to entertain elderly?
I don't know about a wheel but I used to hang fake snakes from the trees in hopes of keeping the squirrels off the bird feeders but it didn't fool them for a second. They played with them! Maybe you could try that. What type of wheel could I put up on tree for wild squirrell to entertain elderly?

Anyone have a suggestion on how to remove squirrell urine from white auto paint?
I just purchased an 2006 Infiniti G35. It has a beautiful paint job of pearl white. This last weekend I went to get in my car and noticed that durring the night squirrells had been on it (there is a pecan tree near by where I park) and had urinated on my car leaving a bright yellow stain. I immediately went and washed the car but the stain is still there!! Anyone know of a product that will remove it without damaging the paint? Anyone have a suggestion on how to remove squirrell urine from white auto paint?
I'd use a polishing compound (not rubbing compound) with a soft, damp cloth. Apply as directed. It's available in any auto parts store.Anyone have a suggestion on how to remove squirrell urine from white auto paint?

Does anyone know what to do if you find an abandoned baby squirrell?
This morning I found what looks like a baby squirrel on my sidewalk. It's so young that it's eyes arent even open yet. I moved it under a tree with hopes that it's mother would come back but I checked a few hours later and it was still there. It is definately alive but I don't know what to do with it, does anyone have any suggestions?Does anyone know what to do if you find an abandoned baby squirrell?
you should call a pet department in your area.Does anyone know what to do if you find an abandoned baby squirrell?
Call the local chapter of the Department of Natural Resources or your local Game Warden. They will likely have a person who adopts injured or abandoned animals. These people will raise it to give it a fighting chance in the world.
Bring it to an animal shelter or the ASPCA or any professional place IMMEDIATELY. the mother probably was killed. and your its guardian angel.
my friend once found a baby squirrel that was abandoned. she took it in and took care of it. she bought it a cage that was quite big, and she took it out and let it roan around in her back yard. I ould wait and keep a close eye on it, you dont want a stray cat or hawk to come around and eat it. if the mother does not come by night fall i would take it in. it might get too cold or a raccoon may come by and kill it. it is a baby and has no protection. get it a cage or take it to a nearby vet. if you do take it in research squirrels and what they eat but if its eyes are closed its probably still getting milk from its mother. you may have to bottle feed it. i did that with eight baby bunnies and it was very hard but it was worth it. and you have to let it go if you keep it so dont treat it like too much of a baby, you have to treat iy like its mother would and eventually let it into the wild. so if you think its too much of a hassle then take it to a nearby vet, im sure theyll take it in.

you need some sticky nuts and a squitterbox - just head a down to petsmart and ask. ';hey where d'y'all keep yer squitterboxes?';
And by stickynuts I meaan some crackerjacks or something.
Hold that question.
*';Hello, police?';*
some pet stores actually sell gray squirrels, but I don't know that they are ';potty trained.'; Spiritually speaking?
Kitties are cuter, and practically housetrain themselves. ;D
get a ferret.
no pets might be a good option too.
When he was a kid, my uncle had some, but I think he kept them in a cage like rabbits.
Maybe on Bizarro Earth, but not here on Real Earth. Sorry.
Why is this in the R%26amp;S section?
on another note...squirrels are VERY cute ^_^
Peace and Blessings
You might have to show him how it is done. Gedadahere.
Only problem is where do they bury their nuts? Did you ever think of that?
I think you are a retard and i hope you die in a car fire.

Any tips on squirrell eviction? We have a family living in our basement we just learned.?
Thanks.Any tips on squirrell eviction? We have a family living in our basement we just learned.?
Use peanut butter to stick a ritz cracker to a trap pan. You can use a rat trap, or a larger leghold trap that will snap around their body [# 2 or # 3 sizes are best and quicker and more humane than a rat trap]. Don't try to live trap them, there is a danger of getting scratched or bitten when trying to release them [possible rabies] if you are not experienced in this. Find out how they are getting in, and cover with 1/4'; steel mesh, not chicken wire.
Squirrels and raccoons can do a lot of damage to a house, and are more prone to invade in the fall months, looking for a warm place to nest for winter.Any tips on squirrell eviction? We have a family living in our basement we just learned.?
get a conibear 110. don't have to worry about an injured critter in a trap. it's a done deal with a conibear.
FYI some place it's Illegal to to have trap that size. Due to that fact that they can harm/kill a pet or a small child. Where I live, I would have to call someone in, or live trap. Most likely no one will bother you but so you know.
If you are willing to kill the squirrels, The best method I have heard is a 5 gallon bucket of water with the surface covered with sunflower seeds and a ramp to the edge. The squirrel tries to get at the sunflower seeds and drowns.
woooow that thing about the drowning is prrrrrrreeeeeeety harsh and sounds confusing but whatever works
Okay, squirrells have a VERY low instance of rabies.. and trust me, if you let one out of the LIVE trap, it's not going to attack you. -Animal Control officer
please use the humane traps. It is not that hard to release them without getting bitten
Remember, a legal eviction requires 30 days notice.
you can also use fox urine, you can buy it in powder form on the internet. it worked for my mom in her attic. it kept the birds out too.
Uh, can't you just call, say, an animal-control agency or even the police to come get them alive rather than killing them in a rather disgusting way.
Also, please do not drown them. Drowning is a rather horrific, terrifying, and painful way to die.
I used Moth Balls. Just spred the contence of the box of moth balls in your attic they will leave. They hate the smell. then you can fix the area that they are comming into the attic. It wont hurt them and it is non toxic to you too.
i work about 60 hours a week at my job. if your life is like mine just kill them in the traps and call it a day.
These animals smelled food! Usually harmless, unless you deal with the 'droppings' and trash can invasion. Dont touch the little puppies, the adults will get hostile.
fox urine
A LIVE TRAP is the MOST and ONLY HUMANE WAY of ridding your basement of squirrels! We have trapped many and have taken them to the nearest park and set free. We have NEVER been bit nor scratched! KILLING IS WRONG!
The people saying fox urine have the right idea; however, if you're fresh out, you can use amonia
Make polyester cotton balls soaked with peanutbutter.
Squirrels will chew on it, the polyester expands in them and does not leave. They may choke all before even they could swallow it, but they like to chew on polyester balls prepared this way.
better get a ';critter b gone'; contractor... they will live trap them and re-locate them... or you can kill them with rat traps. up to you. we had squirrels in the attic and it sounded like they had built a bowling alley to bowl at night and keep us up...i grew to dislike them...though i still won't kill them.
Find out where they comng in and use steel wool to fill the void whee they are getting in. Also if you trap them live taek them for a ride far away. Move them to a new neighborhood. Otherwise they'll be back!
In some areas, you can borrow traps for ';nuisance wildlife'; from the state or county fish and game departments, or from the humane society.
